Guadalajara

Guadalajara city was constructed in1541. It is the second largest city of Mexico and the capital of the State of Jalisco and is called “Pearl of the West” for its beauty. It is a beautiful city where flowers bloom throughout the year and the average temperature is 19 ℃ (66.2F).

Guadalajara is surrounded by many attractive small towns like Tlaquepaque which is famous for Mariachi music and folk arts, Tonara, known as town of pottery, Tequila of Tequila (alcohol) and beautiful health resort Lago de Chapala.

The wall painting at Hospicio Cabanas by Jose Clemente Orozco is one of the masterpieces of art in that region and is designated as a World Heritage site.
