Kyoto city holds several LGBTQ events through Pride month in June, in corporation with Daimaru Kyoto department store.
Panel exhibition
We will make panel exhibition of LGBTQ-related information, such as basic knowledge about gender diversity, survey results on LGBTQ and messages from LGBTQ.

Illumination of the city hall
Kyoto city hall will be lit up in rainbow colors at night.

Shijo street will be decorated by rainbow flags.

LGBTQ friendly Community Space
We organize a Community Space called “Kyoto Marble Space” where LGBTQ and their allies can interact with each other.
The first Community Space this year will be held as followed.
Date and Time: 24(Sat), 2:00-4:00p.m.
Place: Kyoto Municipal Gender Equality
Center(Wings Kyoto) 2nd floor.

Special Events by Daimaru Kyoto department store, 「LOVE MY COLORS － LOVE YOUR COLORS」
Daimaru Kyoto holds the events in order to realize a society where everyone can be themselves and achieve their well-being.
(1)Illumination of the department store
Daimaru Kyoto department store will be lit up in rainbow colors at night.
Date and Time: 1(Thu)-30(Fri), 6:30-9:00p.m.
(2)Photo exhibition
Daimaru will make photo exhibition of LGBTQ-related events, such as Kyoto pride photo session 2022 hosted by “Colorful”, a voluntary association, and Kyoto Rainbow Pride Parade and Festival 2023 organized by “Kyoto Rainbow Pride”, a voluntary group.

(3)Concert and Talk show by LGBTQ and musicians
Kazue-chan, a LGBTQ YouTuber holds a talk show, accompanied by four musicians. You can feel the importance of cherishing everyone through the performance.

(4)Do coloring picture to make a big tree
You can do coloring pictures with crayon or colored pencils in hope that you make Kyoto into a city where everyone can twinkle.

(5)Get cotton candy
The first 50 people who have done coloring pictures above can get a cotton candy.
