Pride Month 2022 in Kyoto city

Kyoto city hall will be lit up in rainbow colors at night.
Date and Time: 27(Mon) to 30(Thu), 5:30-10:00 p.m.

We will make panel exhibition of LGBTQ-related information, such as basic knowledge about gender diversity and messages from LGBTQ.

Place:The special site prepared around the information center on the 1st floor at Daimaru Kyoto department store

Rock’n’ Plaza, Shin-Kyogoku shoping street
          430-1, Sakurano-cho, Nakagyo ward, Kyoto city

Shijo street, Shin-kyogoku street and Sanjo street will be decorated by rainbow flags.

Daimaru will make photo exhibition of LGBTQ-related events, such as  Kyoto pride photo session 2021 hosted by “Colorful”, a voluntary association ,and Kyoto Rainbow Pride Parade and Festival 2022 organized by “Soraniji Kyoto”, a voluntary group.

Place: The special site prepared around the information center on the 1st floor at Daimaru Kyoto department store

Juvichan, a contrabassist of Kyoto Symphony Orchestra, who comes out as LGBTQ, and their allies, Kanamoto Yoko and Nakayama Kosuke, will conduct a concert and talk show.

Write your message to the future you, your significant other and someone you have never met, and post it on the panel to make a rainbow shape.

Participation in the parade: Advance application is required. The first 50 people can participate in it.
