Boston, the Capital city of the State of Massachusetts has a harbor which is located at about the same latitude as Hakodate, Japan.

It is the largest city in the New England region and a center for commerce, financing and culture.

The history of Boston started in 1630 which consists of well-known episodes such as Boston Tea party. There are many remnants of the American wars of independence and cultural heritages. It is also known for Boston Marathon, Boston Symphony Orchestra and Museum of Fine Arts of Boston.

Boston is also famous for being an academic city, the abode of Boston University, Harvard University and MIT. The city is well-known for its refined culture and academic assets. Its economy and high tech industry is also well advanced.
